This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit gen7tech.com or contact us. It is written to be read, not to be survived: short sections, plain language, no clauses that quietly mean the opposite of what they appear to say.
GEN7Tech (“we”, “us”) is a software agency operating as [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
Privacy questions, requests, and complaints: hello@gen7tech.com.
If you email us or use a contact link on this site, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, email address, company, and a description of your project. We use it to reply to you and, if we start working together, to run the engagement. Nothing more.
Our web host records standard server logs for every visit: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, referring page, and timestamp. These logs exist for security and troubleshooting and are kept for a short period, then deleted.
If website analytics are enabled (see section 3), aggregate usage data — pages viewed, approximate region, device category, how you arrived — is also collected.
This site sets no cookies of its own. It has no advertising pixels, no remarketing tags, and no cross-site trackers.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It sets its own cookies and records a pseudonymised identifier for your browser; IP anonymisation is enabled, and we do not use its advertising features. Google Analytics does not run at all if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
To opt out entirely, install Google's opt-out browser add-on, block cookies for this domain, or enable Do Not Track in your browser settings.
Loading this website necessarily reveals your IP address to the services that deliver parts of it. We keep that list deliberately short:
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We share it with no one else except where the law requires it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent you previously gave.
Email hello@gen7tech.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you for exercising these rights, and asking will never affect how we treat you as a client or a prospect. If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry email and project systems is limited to the people who need it and protected by multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant regulator without undue delay.
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Some of the providers listed in section 4 operate outside your country, including in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, it is done under the safeguards those providers offer, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page. Changes take effect when posted, and we will never apply a change retroactively to make weaker promises about data we already hold.
This policy is governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION].
Questions about anything above: hello@gen7tech.com. We answer privacy emails on the same schedule as everything else — within 1 business day.
